Q1.Is there any problem of blending ZEO CE LIGHT with modeling liquids made by other companies?
First of all, let us explain about the viscosity of modeling liquids made by other companies.
Since ZEO CE LIGHT consists of fine particles, blending with a high-viscosity liquid causes above problems; as a result, it increases the risk of interfusion of air bubbles and cracks after firing.
Q2.Blended modeling liquids made by other companies with ZEO CE LIGHT, and we formed a bridge, then carried out firing; however, cracks occurred at the connection area. Why did this happen?
Building up bridges using a high-viscosity modeling liquid along with ZEO CE LIGHT helps maintain the shape; however, the condensation process cannot be carried out evenly.
Being condensed partially makes shrinkage non-uniform.
Usually, the connection area of the bridge is incised, layered and then fired. Moreover, it is difficult to fill in powder particles finely at the connection area even if the condensation process is performed.
As a result, there will be some spaces between the particles, and shrinkage will be bigger than in other areas. This causes exfoliation and cracks.
Even if there is no problem after the first firing, exfoliation and cracking will happen during further processing. The viscosity of ZEO CE LIGHT Modeling Liquid is designed with the particles of ZEO CE LIGHT in mind. However, the following two steps are required before further processing.
