TWiNY is designed based on the colors of the VITA Classical Shade Guide (the VITA Guide), so as to reproduce their characteristics.

TWiNY can therefore express similar shades to those of the VITA Guide by application of basic shades. Compared with other products, TWiNY shades are more similar to those of the VITA Guide.

The florescence of TWiNY is designed to approximate to natural teeth, and is equivalent to Luna-Wing.

TWiNY shades are not compatible with Luna-Wing or ZEO CE LIGHT shades. In terms of visual image, TWiNY is slightly less reddish in shade than Luna-Wing. TWiNY shades are designed to be more similar to Luna-Wing than ZEO CE LIGHT.

TWiNY’s transmittance rate is at about the median level compared with a range of other products.

This happens because TWiNY Enamel shades are darker than Luna-Wing. Please try an enamel that is whiter by 1 level, such as using E2 instead of E3.

TWiNY is designed to be similar to VITA Guide shades. Please keep using Dentine but try the following steps:

Cervical
Heighten chroma by choosing a darker shade, CA2 instead of CA1, or by applying MO, Margin Opaque.

Enamel
Choose a whiter shade, E2 or E1 instead of E3. In cases where contrast is needed, apply Translucent or Effect shades, or use stain on the inside.

Luna-Wing Stain Clear can solve this problem between dentine mamelons. Alternatively, staining T or T-Glass with Stain Blue or Blue and using TWiNY T Blue Flow can create a translucent look artificially. The color and viscosity of Stain can be adjusted by adding Stain Clear to Stain.

Gum Dark Red is suitable to express blood vessels.
