Q1.Does iGOS have X-RAY contrast property?

Yes, it does. iGOS can be visually with X-ray since its contrast property which is 1.0 mm thickness is equal to or more than the one of aluminium with 2.0 mm thickness.

Q2.What is Ceramics Cluster Filler?

It is a robust aggregate of submicron fine particles by sintering. The surface of Ceramics Cluster Filler was melted and sintered under adjusting sintering temperature but fine particles are joined at the point each other. This enables to enhance the flexural strength of Ceramics Cluster Filler more than inorganic clusters filler which has same particle diameter and to add an excellent polishability.

Q3.What is the size of the filler which is employed for each type of iGOS?

For Universal type, 1-20 μm of Ceramics Cluster Filler which is an aggregate of submicron fillers which particle diameter is 200-600 nm, approx.700 nm of Fluoride Sustained Release Filler and approx.20 nm of Spherical Nano-filler are contained. For Flowable type, fine glass fillers which particle diameter is approx.200 nm are contained instead of ceramics cluster fillers.

Q5.Does it have fluorine recharge property?

Yes, it does. Fluoride ion can be recharged by brushing teeth with fluoride containing toothpaste.

Q7.How much is the bending strength?

The strength of Universal type is approx. 160 MPa and Flowable type has approx. 150 MPa of strength.

Q8.What percentage of inorganic filler is contained in each iGOS Universal, Flow and Low Flow?

Percentage Content of Inorganic Filler
Universal: 76.2 wt% (A3) 75.8~76.4 wt% (depending on shade)
Flow: 63.6 wt%
Low Flow: 64.2 wt%

Q9.What is the purpose of the 3 pictures of test solvent for inhibitory effect of caries bacteria adhesion?

All 3 beakers show that same test was conducted three times. The purpose of test is to improve the reliability of the result by consistency of experiments.

Q10.How long will the fluorine recharge property last?

We have not tested persistence of fluorine recharge property, assuming use of long term. However, more stable fluorine sustained-release property than other products have been confirmed at the recharging test with toothpaste which contains fluorine. Also, resin corium will be exposed by daily brushing. Considering fluorine sustained-release from the corium, permanent fluorine sustained-release can be expected.
