Q1.How long is the standard irradiation time? How depth is the curing depth of each of iGOS universalUniversal, flowFlow and lowLow flowFlow?

Dental Curing Light Irradiator
(Light Source)
irradiation time Shade and Increment Depth
Opaque Other than Opaque
ハロゲン 20秒 1.0mm 1.5mm
LED 10秒

Please refer to the upper table and cure by photo-irradiation. A halogen lamp which emits effective wavelength of range of 400-515 nm with quantity of light of more than 400 mW/cm² is assumed to be used as a light source .
A blue LED whose emission spectrum peak top of range of 450-480 nm and it emits an effective wavelength of range of 400-515 nm with quantity of light of more than 1,000 mW/cm² is assumed to be used as a light source.
※It is recommended to cure for 20 sec. in cases of using LED curing light which emits an effective wavelength of 400-515 nm and the light intensity is less than 1000 mW/cm².

Q2.What adhesive is recommended on use of iGOS?

Dental adhesives for light curing can be used. We recommend to use iGOS-BOND for simple and secure composite restoration.

Q3.How can I perform additional filling?

For incremental filling, adhesive is not required if unpolymerized layer is remained in the surface of the lower layer. If there is no uncured surface due to grinding, or if the surface is contaminated by saliva, please follow the following steps.

1. Grind the area for additional layering and expose a new face;
2. Rinse and dry;
3. Apply Silane coupling agent; (YAMAKIN product, Multi Primer liquid and etc. can be used for the adhesive surface.)
4. Perform adhesion by light curing. (Apply iGOS-BOND, dry by air blow, cure in case of using YAMAKIN product.)

Q4.Is each irradiation time for curing iGOS Universal, Flow and Low Flow all the same?

All the same.

Q5.Is there any light irradiator which is not suitable for iGOS?

Please confirm your light irradiator meets the following conditions. When the light irradiator doesn't satisfy the following conditions, composite will not be cured and there will be a possibility that desirable physical properties cannot be demonstrated. Halogen lamp which emits an effective wavelength of 400-515 nm and the light intensity is 400 mW/cm² and over is supposed to be used. LED whose emission spectrum peak top is 450-480 nm and the effective wavelength is 400-515 nm and the light intensity is 1000 mW/cm² and over is supposed to be used.
